RegistrationTo register for our choir, please fill out this form and send in the registration fee on September 25th, 2015. Checks payable to Oak Hill Elementary. **Filling out the online form does not guarantee your student's spot UNTIL registration fee has been turned in to Ms. Brown or Ms. Flaherty. Do not forget to send in your fee!
Attendance: Regular attendance at rehearsals is expected. If your child is absent or leaves early from school, please send an email or call me so I know to not expect them at rehearsal.
Conduct: Appropriate behavior is expected at all rehearsals and performances, both on and off campus. Disruptive behaviors will result in removal from the choir. Parent contact will be made before removal.
Dues: Membership dues for the SES will be $15. This will cover the SES expenses throughout the year. Dues will need to be paid to Ms. Brown by Friday, September 25th. Checks can be made payable to Oak Hill Elementary. If you have trouble meeting this deadline, please contact me directly to discuss payment options.
Performance travel: Parents will be responsible to transport their child to and from off-campus performances, except for performances that occur during the school day, or for those which I can get AISD bus service provided for.
Snacks: Students will have from 2:45 until 2:55 to have a quick snack (if they choose) before rehearsal begins. Please try to send something light and healthy. Please refrain from dairy products as they cause phlegm buildup in the throat. Also, please avoid snacks with peanuts or tree nuts as we have students with severe allergies to these products and the Music room has been designated a “Nut Free Zone”. Snack time will end at 2:55 to begin rehearsal promptly at 3:00.
